My sister's surgery went well today. She is talking fine.
The day has been very stressful. It took an hour longer than the surgeon thought so we started to get a bit worried but everything is fine.
They had to take the whole thyroid out along with some lymphnodes. She was feeling miserable, of course, yet she looked good for having just come out of surgery!
It is a huge relief that everything is o.k.
