Hi everyone. The last three weekends hasve been busy as have the weeks. BUT today starts the last week of classes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone is counting down the days. We are also waiting for the students to start disappearing from class as they leave on vacations early.
I have spent the last three Saturdays on Andryivsky street Christmas shopping. I am finally done! I also picked an orphan to buy gifts for. Yesterday I taught 7 people to knit; it was fun! It felt like a Christmas party. We had lots of good food and wine.
I bought a 3 foot X-mas tree and am glad I did. It really is nice to have one in the apartment. I miss all the decorations and houses lit up.
It is cold here but not as cold as MN. We are still in the 20s and 30s. No minus temps yet...
Half of the city doesn't have heat or electricity cuz the government hasn't paid the bill. I am really thankful we are on the heated half of the city!!!
I need to get back to work. I will be in MN on the 22nd. I'm very, very excited to be coming home.!!!
