It takes apx. 3 weeks for mail to get to Kyiv. It is expensive to send packages.
I sent myself a 14 pound package, insured and it cost apx. $70.

If you mail me a package, follow these guidelines:
DO NOT declare more than a $99 value;
DO NOT list 'gifts' on the form;
Once I give you my apartment address DO NOT send me things to the school
address;
DO NOT send me tapes or DVD's since they may be confiscated.
Any of the above things will immediately cause the package to be impounded to
customs and will cost me a significant amount of money to get released.
