I have been here two years without tripping and falling on the uneven payment. Last night I made up for it. My whole body hurts cuz I tensed up when I was falling. My knee is terribly bruised and scraped up and so is one elbow. I hurt!

I had middle school students create a Mad Hater Tea Party.
The banner is actually the table cloth but you couldn't see it with all the stuff on it so I hung it up. I'm going to draw a name to see who gets to keep it.
They all had to make a cup and saucer and a miniature chair from clay. There are also two spoons and a fork. Some made plates for the papier mache cakes. The boys worked on the hat and clocks with help from the girls cuz the boys don't show up for class very often.
The teapots are not glazed yet so they are not on the table at this point.

About six weeks ago, when we were walking home from a restaurant we saw this hedgehog by Cynthia and Paul's building.

My high school students were to make a junk sculpture and one student brought this in. I love it! Very Calder like. It is made of Red Bull cans and copper wire. I love it!!!

There is an International Film Festival happening in Kyiv and Lviv. Last night Isobel and I went to a movie and tonight Bev and Keith went with us to see another one. We are going to try and go again on Wednesday night.
It was great to sit in an actual theater and watch a movie! Both nights we went out to eat at our favorite outdoor restaurant.
The heat has been too much lately; close to 100 degrees.

Oh! I forgot these two important things to do... use a clothes dryer and drink water from the tap!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made a papier mache octopus for Mrs. Bateman's 7 year old class play. It was great fun to make and the kids were wild for it. I also made some sea weed.

The kids did a fantastic job on their performance. I got all teary eyed.

Tonight I gave away 5 plants. I have sold most of my stuff and am starting to give the things to people who are buying them.
It is going to cost a fortune to ship things home. I am working hard to mentally let go of things and sell them so I have less to ship home.
Everything is off my walls and I have four suitcases packed.
